Extreme fatigue, blurred vision and
increased thirst are some of the symptoms, but what happens to the body when
you have diabetes – and what causes it?
When you eat your food, your body
digest it in smaller parts. vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fats
sugar – sugar is also known as glucose. Your pancreas responds by releasing it
insulin hormone that helps your body change glucose from your food
energy that your body can use as a fuel.
People with diabetes do not
correct amount of insulin to help balance blood glucose levels
bodies. This causes a lack of energy that makes them feel weak, drained and
thirsty.
When your body does not do enough
insulin or when your body has difficulty using insulin, develop
Diabetes. High glucose levels can damage your organs over time.
Your body can also respond to
deficiency of insulin with the release of more glucose – and if the blood sugar level gets you
too high, glucose could leak into your urine and cause serious damage
your nerves and blood vessels.
Unprocessed diabetes hurts the body to many
ways, leading to:
- Increased danger
heart disease due to high blood pressure. - Nervous damage during
the digestion that can lead to nausea, constipation or diarrhea – especially in
the case of type 2 diabetes. - Traffic and
damaged nerves can lead to dry skin, slow wound healing, fungal and bacterial
infections and leg problems. - Toxic acid called
ketones can develop, a result of the body that breaks down fat and fat
protein to get energy, which could be life-threatening. - Serious eye
damage as a result of pressure and edema of the blood vessels. - Renal failure
and high levels of protein in your urine.
Talk to your doctor, take it
medications and track your symptoms. Be sure to maintain a healthy diet and
exercise regularly – it will do wonders for creating a healthy quality
