The naked appearance of the German erotic model Micaela Schäfer on the HTL Wels Matura Ball – with about 5,000 visitors one of the largest Maturabälle in Austria – now also employs the school authorities.
Alfred Klampfer, head of the School Board of the Provincial School as an education manager, says in the OÖN interview: "We are currently receiving a presentation of the events and a discussion with the organizers and the ball committee will be held with many eyes."
Although Klampfer points out that the graduation ball is not a school event and that the invitation to Micaela Schäfer was made by the Students' Committee. "But we assume that directors have some influence on their students."
Information sheet for all schools
In any case, he had arranged information to go to all the schools on Maturaball. "Of course, we do not have much fun with this," says Klampfer. "I imagine another promotion at school, which does not help to increase the proportion of female students.
First, school management must have consequences. "There are no complaints yet in the school's parents' association," says his deputy chairman, Helge Hosiner, who considers the performance "for a ball inappropriate. But the graduates of the high school have organized it, and if they think they need it, that is their decision. You are 18 or 19 years of age and therefore of age. "
The head of the organization was a ball committee, under HTL chemistry student Benjamin Bansal. "Above all, we wanted to polarize," he told OÖN yesterday. The appearance of Schäfers began around 1.45am. in the exhibition hall.
"There were almost no parents, and the followers saw everything very relaxed," says Bansal. What he only knows in his reputation, "because I did not see her naked dance, does not necessarily correspond to my personal moral perception." But "sex is selling," says Bansal. (MIB / Wal / Cri)
