Rebel Wilson recently caused some controversy when she said she was the first woman with emotional figures to star in a romantic comedy.
During a show The show Ellen DeGeneres, Wilson was talking about her role in the film, It's not Romantic.
"I'm somewhat proud to be the first big-size girl to be the star of a romantic comedy," Wilson said.

Many people have taken on Twitter to refer to size plus actors such as Queen Latifah and Moeque Nique, who have also starred in romantic comedies.
"Love @RebelWilson as well as the next girl, but she is not the first plus medium-sized woman to play the lead in a romantic comedy. Queen Latifah and Mo & Nique played both of Romcom's diamonds, "wrote a Twitter user.
"Yes of course I know these films, but it was doubtful if: 1. Technically these actors were plus size when filming those films or 2. Technically these films are catorgorized / charged as a studio rom-com with unique lead. there is a small gray area, " Pitch Perfect actress tweeted.

Mooie Nique responded to Wilson saying, "Hi my sister, let's not allow this business to erase our talent by giving gray areas and technical details."
He continued: "Take a moment and you know the story, and you are NOT part of it, I wish you the best."
Wilson responded to writing Mo & Nique, "Hi Monique, it was never my intention to delete someone else's achievements and I love you and Queen Latifah so much x I support all ladies plus the size and all the positive we do together ❤ ️. "

As the reaction from her comments continued, Wilson began to block people who spoke about the remarks she made.

After blocking a lot of people who tweeted about Wilson's comments, the Australian actress got to Twitter on Monday to apologize.
"In a few good times, in the hope of picking up my fellow men, plus the size of women, I was neglected to show respect to those who climbed this mountain in front of me, such as Moore, Queen Latifah, Melissa McCarthy, Ricki "With the help of some very compassionate and well thought-out responses from others to social media, I now realize what I said not only wrong but also incredibly bad."
He continued: "Being part of a problem that I hope helped make it much more annoying and difficult to recognize."
Wilson continued to say, "I was blocking people on Twitter because we were injured by criticism, but these are the people I really need to hear from more, no less." Again, I'm sorry.
