US investment strengthens urban health in Ethiopia

The US Agency for International Development (USAID), in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, marks the successful completion of a $ 20 million five-year Urban Health Program in Ethiopia for a special ceremony. Over the last five years, the USAID's Egyptian Health Urban Health Program has trained 2,500 urban health workers to improve the quality of healthcare services for 2.5 million households in 50 cities across the country. Health Minister Amir Aman and USAID Deputy Director Alicia Dinerstein are expected to comment on this latest milestone in the partnership between the United States and Ethiopia.
