The body of a 14-year-old boy, missing since May, was found in a former bakery in Lens near his home.
The body of Theo, a 14-year-old who disappeared on the evening of May 26-27, was found in abandoned facilities next to his home in Lens, Pas-de-Calais. On Friday, "a group of young urban explorers who visited the site of a former industrial bakery" in Lens, a few dozen meters from Theo's house, discovered "a human body in one of the rooms," said the Bethune prosecutor.
DNA tests are under way. The state of advanced deterioration of this body did not allow the immediate identification of the deceased. An autopsy took place on Tuesday without specifying the conditions of death. DNA tests are in progress, but "Theo's body is that of Theo," according to a source close to the AFP record. The clothes found in the body were those wearing the teenager and his cell phone was found near the corpse, as it is called.
He had accompanied a friend after a party. The National Police had issued a research report in May for "worrying extinction of a minor". On the night the child left, he returned home around 5:30 am. after a party in a nightclub and then accompanied one of his friends back to his home. He never returned home.
