Hyundai played a turmoil on the market by launching the brand-new Santro for a starting price of Rs 3.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand new Santro comes with a modern design and a sure stop. The Cascade front design chrome mask offers a first bold impression. The car comes with Z character lines that add a bright and elegant finish to the exterior. The aesthetics of the rear adds the courage of the new Santro's overall design.

As for the appearance, Tiago gets the design language "Tata & amp; Impact". There is no over the top aggression in the design approach, without excessive use of chrome or body lining. The car gets smoky 3D headlights that continue on the mask line and connect it to the bumper line. Sharp tail lamps emphasize the sporty attitude of the car. It also receives a large rear windshield with a rear wiper.

With regard to the engine, the new Santro is equipped with a four-cylinder 1.1-liter gasoline engine. The 1,086cc gasoline engine produces 69 acres at 5,500 rpm. New CNG version of the new Santro makes 59ps at 5,500 rpm. The engine also receives manual and automatic gearboxes. The required mileage for Hyundai Santro's new MT and AMT gasoline engines is 20.3 kmpl, while the CNG version is 30.48 kmpl.

The Tiago is available in petrol and diesel versions with two engines – Revotron 1.2L (petrol engine) and Revotorq 1.05L (diesel engine), Tiago engines are designed and programmed to deliver exceptional fuel economy and bitter driving experience, first feature, Multi-drive mode – City and Eco.

The new Santro comes packed with new age technology, including the first 16.64 cm (6.94 inches) touch screen system. The multimedia system features Android Auto, Apple Carplay and Mirror Link along with support for voice recognition and rear parking cameras on the screen. In addition, the new Santro is equipped with Hyundai's "Eco Coating Technology" patent, which prevents an unpleasant odor in the AC vaporizer by degrading the micro-organisms.

Inside the cabin there are various shades used inside the cabin – chrome, black piano, dashboard of two oscillators and silver accent. Then there is a long list of features such as electric exterior mirrors, the cooled glovebox and the rear parking sensors. The car also gets Harman's Harman with 8 Harman loudspeakers, which has a Bluetooth connection with audio and phone control.

The new Santro is built on a new platform along with the 63% Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) + High-Strength Steel (HSS), helping to achieve the significant Static & Dynamic Airbag that offers incompatible security. Additionally, the EBD standard ABS with Driver Airbag provide safety to customers. The new Santro also takes another first part – unlocking the open door.
