The video shows a traffic police officer allegedly hitting a man on the side of the road in the area of ​​Deli Serdang.

The man, who appeared in the video for 1 minute and 8 seconds, was shot in the right hand by a sitting police officer wearing a bright green vest with a police inscription on his back. The man in the jacket immediately lay down.

As the police officer walked away, the man stood up and shouted the animal’s name.

Immediately, the police officer turned to the man and hit him until he fell again.

Accompanied by someone who was screaming as she cried, another staff member was seen approaching with the arrival of a covered woman.

“This is my son,” said the woman, trying to wake the man lying on the side of the road.

Two police officers left him and one of them returned. The event became a public spectacle.

Deli Serdang Police Chief Kombes Paul Yemi Mandagi confirmed the incident, which was confirmed by WhatsApp conversation application.

The fight took place in the afternoon of Wednesday (13/10/2021) in Jalan Cemara, Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang Regency.

At the time, a dispute arose between Aipda G, a member of the Deli Serdang Satlantas Polresta, and a motorcyclist who was disrupting traffic.

During the disagreement, Aipda G beat the motorcyclist.

The police chief apologizes to the victim and covers the medical expenses

Yemi stressed that even if a motorcyclist makes a mistake, the beating is not justified.

“We went to the family (for the incident) and apologized for the incident. In addition, we took Andy’s brother to the doctor for treatment,” he said.
