Ryanair passengers will not be able to check-in online for a twelve-hour period as the company closes its website and mobile app on Wednesday.
The airline announced that services will not be available from 5 pm Wednesday (November 7) to 5 am, due to upgrading systems.
Ryanair's online check-in service will not be available at this time. Also, passengers will not be able to make new reservations or change existing flights.
The company charges an extra £ 55 per person if it wishes to check in at an airport.
On Monday, the company contacted all passengers who were flying with them during the period set to inform them about the issues.
Passengers traveling during this period have advised to check in on-line in advance.
Ryanair apologized for any inconvenience caused by upgrading systems.
"Customers traveling on Wednesdays or Thursdays will have to check in on their flight on Tuesday, November 6. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this upgrading, which will further improve Ryanair.com" , said Robin Kiely of Ryanair.
