STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Mensch on a bench has extended his family this season to include a good Mitzvah Moose heart and wise (and hilarious) Ask Papa dolls.
- The Mitzvah Moose is a velvety Moose doll that includes batteries. In the story, Moshe the Mensch helps the moose to complete a series of eight mitzvot (good deeds) to help illuminate his horns. The doll is distributed for $ 24.99.
- Ask Papa is a battery-powered grandfather doll who is sweet, lovable and has 14 humorous Hebrew phrases to keep kids laughing. Papa retails for $ 19.99.
The Mensch on a Bench was created by Neal Hoffman and has become a retail star since its introduction in 2013. It is one of the most popular products from the TV show Tank Shark. On Sunday, November 18, Moshe the Mensch will host BE A MENSCH DAY, encouraging both children and adults to act as a mensch and doing good deeds throughout the day.
It's been a long time for Moshe, who now has a partnership with the Major League Baseball and will be joining players in many US cities in 2019 for Jewish Heritage. He and Robert Herjavec (Shark from Shark Tank) were honored in the Red Sox Boston Jewish Heritage, they threw the first stadium and were the subject of the limited edition Bobbleheads, which was given to the fans.
The Mensch on a bench, which retails for $ 29.99, was presented this year at "Heading Home," a documentary on the Israeli baseball team's underdog and was called a mascot.
