An attempted bombing was postponed by border guards on Monday morning, police said.
According to the police, a Palestinian woman pulled a sharp object, which was trying to stab the border guards who examined it during a regular security check at a gas station in Kfar Adumim.
Then the police officers at the border fired at the woman and derailed the attack.
Many security forces have been sent to the scene.
A similar incident happened also on Monday when the Israeli army said it called a militant attack near the Kiryat Arba settlement in the West Bank.
According to the IDF spokesman, a Palestinian attempted to hurt Israeli citizens and an officer before being shot by a soldier on stage.
The offender was evacuated to receive medical treatment. No Israel victims were reported.
