Federico Garcia Lorca (1898 – 1936) is one of the most important poets and theatrical writers of Spanish culture and "House Bernard Albas" is one of his creations.
V. Meikšāns compared the poetic text of Lork's play with the tango rhythms, which was translated by the poet Edvīns Raups to the production of the Liepaja Theater.
