The first cases of suspected influenza in the province of Sibiu occurred. Seasonal flares have so far hit four people, one of whom is in further research to confirm the presence of the virus, according to the data from the Public Health Directorate (DSP) in Sibiu.
The last three outbreaks of influenza were reported between November 5 and 11, and a 29-year-old woman from Sibiu took care of confirming the presence of the influenza virus.
"The reported cases of influenza were 3, compared to 1 case in the week of November (…) A sample for the detection of the flu virus suspected of flu in Sibiu, which is being investigated at the Bucharest Cantacuzino Institute, said the bulletin type DSP Sibiu.
In the first week of November, in the region of Sibiu, 2126 cases of "mild development" of respiratory infections, most of those affected by people aged 15-49 years. The number of pneumonia also reached 290 cases.
