Lamborghini Urus ST-X Program (2018)

Lamborghini Urus ST-X Concept

During the World Finals in 2018, the Lamborghini Squadra Corse unveiled the Urus ST-X Concept, the racing version of the first Super SUV in the history of the brand. The vision is a car designed for a pioneering single-brand championship that combines the roundabout and the off-road track. The new version will be released in Europe and the Middle East in 2020 in approved FIA-approved circuits with an "arrive and drive" formula that will offer customers a complete package including car and technical support during weekends.

Lamborghini Urus's ST-X Concept applies the Lamborghini Squadra Corsa experience to a brand new segment. Compared to the production model, the Urus ST-X Concept has been mechanically optimized and equipped with all FIA-approved safety features, including the roller cage, the fire suppression system and the FT3 fuel tank.

From aesthetic point of view, the Lamborghini Urus Concept ST-X is characterized by the Verde Mantis mattress (green) in addition to the hood in visible carbon fiber. Larger air intakes optimize the cooling of the twin-turbo V8 engine, which can carry 650 CV and a torque of 850 Nm. The overall look is complemented by the rear wing, lateral exhausts of the racing cars with a new hexagonal design and the 21 "single-crank aluminum alloy wheels with Pirelli tires.

The development of match formation also led to a 25% reduction compared to the production model. The lightweight, along with the raised adjustment and torsional stiffness provided by a cage incorporated into the frame, help convert the Lamborghini Urus ST-X Concept into a race car for road and off-road use without compromise. His orbits debut will take place during the Lamborghini 2019 World Finals.
