In early June, Israeli researchers discovered a possible link between myocarditis and the Pfizer vaccine.
The Israeli Ministry of Health later warned that the small number of reported cases of inflammatory heart disease in the country, mostly in young men vaccinated with Pfizer and BioNTech coronavirus, was probably related to the vaccine.
Now scientists from Israel are making new discoveries. In a large study of 2.5 million vaccinated people, it was found that myocarditis (an inflammatory disease of the myocardium) affects only 0.002 percent and is severe in only two percent (one patient contracted the disease).
According to the journal Nature, two Israeli studies have shown a lower risk of myocarditis after Pfizer / BioNTech vaccination. According to them, the chance of contracting the disease is 1:50,000.
