The S & P 500 declined by 0.1% and Dow Jones by 0.4%, the Nasdaq index rose slightly by 0.01 points.
The US stock market closed on Tuesday with mixed results. The energy sector was the lead of the sale, as oil prices recorded a steep fall in more than three years. Concerns about the imbalance between rising output and declining demand have pushed commodity prices for the twelfth consecutive day.
S & P 500 declined 0.1% to 2,722.18 points and Dow Jones by 0.4% to 25,286.49. The Nasdaq technology index rose slightly by 0.01 points to 7,200.87 points.
Most Asia stock exchanges declined on Wednesday. Tokyo's main Nikkei 225 index rose 0.2 percent to 21,846.48 points. South Korea's Kospi Index fell 0.4 percent to 2 063.88 points, Hong Kong Hang Seng 0.5 percent to 25 659.21 points, and Shanghai's composite stock index 0.9 percent to 2 631.99 units.
