Oskarshamns AIK hit the afternoon with a huge crowd.
Smålandsgänget brought Varberg 4-2 in the first qualifier – and is now near the next season.
"All the prices for the war effort," says Oskarshamn-back Filip Jägerbrink at C More.

Varbergs Bois ended this year with 14th place on the table and four points up to Gefle in the relegation area in the supernatural. Tonight the team was placed in the first qualifying match against the 2nd in Division 1 South, Oskarshamns AIK in Småland.

It was far from what Hallandslag thought.

Oskarshamn, who for the first time in 2013 moved to First Division, shook Varberg early and took the lead in the race. Emil Skogh took the ball from the penalty spot and found the ball cost 1-0. Shortly before and shortly after half time it was time again. William Kvist hit twice again, first after a defensive mistake and later after a move to 2-0 and 3-0.

Hallandslaget brought a goal for 3-1, but later saw Oskarshamn again in a goal at 4-1. In the end, Varberg reduced overtime and the game ended 4-2, which, on the other hand, did not calculate the fact that Oskarshamn stood for a huge crowd.

"They take an offensive punishment that we release at the end but do our best for the war effort," says Oskarshamn-back Filip Jägerbrink at C More.

"We do a good job and then we have to have humility for the second race away from Varberg. What we are showing here is the Oskarshamn we showed in 2018, including a good conversion game," he continues.

Oskarshamn now has a good starting position before returning to Halland on November 18th.

"I think we had a good strategy for this race and now we will see how they usually play at home. We can get it with the leaderboard, but we definitely have the final goal that gave importance to the race on Sunday," says Jägerbrink.
