Today, the official candidates for the German Programming Prize 2018 were unveiled. The award ceremony will be held again in Cologne in early December.
On December 5, 2018, the German Programming Prize 2018 will take place in Cologne's flora. The awards are awarded in 19 different categories, with game makers now revealing the candidates. These were determined during a jury meeting.
In particular, the "CrossCode" from Deck13 and "Far: Lone Sails" by Mixtvision Mediengesellschaft were proposed in five categories. Also, Calypso's "railway empires" could secure four nominations. THQ Nordic received even six nominations.
In addition to the Developers' Summit, the award ceremony will be hosted by CMG Conferences, a subsidiary of Computec Media Group. The Summit is a predominantly German-speaking symposium focusing on representatives of the local gaming industry and issues such as game development and marketing. At the official website you can buy tickets for both events from 149 euros.
