So far this year the deaths from influenza in Mexico increased by 93% compared to 2017, according to the latest epidemiological bulletin of the Mexican Ministry of Health.
This figure translates into 28 deaths this year compared to the two recorded last year. The Health Minister warned last September that this year there will be greater circulation of the AH1N1 virus.

Cases increased by 210% in the first month of the winter, compared to the same period in 2017. This year there were 491 positive cases, while in 2017 there were 158, said Prensa Latina.
Countries with most cases are Veracruz, with 73? Guerrero, 63; Chiapas, 46; Sinaloa, 39 and Oaxaca, with 34, which represent 51.9% of the total number of confirmed cases at national level.
